I guess you arn't aware of the SQL worm thats effecting the internet and not just Plusnet.

Also whilst the portal was down you could have looked in the: usenet.plus.net (plusnet.service.customer-feedback) via outlook express or whatever newsreader and seen a post from plusnet about their specific problem.

Can't see whatelse plusnet could have done under the circumstances.

Hi Guys,

Hoepfully things are all back to normal now - Usenet is an extremely powerful tool but we do find that new (As in haven't been about for ever!)Internet users prefer web based applications.

We do our best to keep users up to date with service affecting issues, be those internal or external - The events of the weekend made that harder, but our phone system and Usenet had up to date information for our customers.

If theres any examples of where we have been 'shite' then now is a good time to blow the cobwebs off and get any questions or issues you have out of your system!

With Regards,

Hmm. Usenet hasnt been about forever either! RFC 977 was written in February 1986.
