fortinet firewall on plus net?

Is anyone using a fortinet fortigate firewall on plus net with an adsl modem router?

I have been trying to set one up with a plain modem but this has failed because plus net do not support PPPOE.

So I am looking for a recommendation of an ADSL modem router under about £80 to use.

fortinet firewall on plus net?

Netgear DG834.

Has a good reputation, 4 ports and an SPI firewall.

Yep I second Peter's suggestion, I use that router and it's pretty good.

Are you both using it with a fortigate firewall though?

As good as any router might be I am not buying it unless someone says "I am using XYZ router with a fortigate 50A firewall".

To my knowledge, but I could be proved wrong, all UK ADSL lines use PPPoA.

I don't use a fortinet firewall, as I'm a residential user, the firewall on my netgear router is more than enough. There are plenty of good ADSL ethernet modems out there and plenty of good routers with a firewall as well.
Just take a look at linksys, netgear, just take a look at http://www.dsl-warehouse.co.uk/
