On my initial setup I had to type in the IP address for the router. I have kept that IP address in my Favourites folder so can go to it when necessary to check status etc

You may find your router support SNMP.

With a small SMB/SMNP viewer, you should be able to see 99% of the routers information, including the uptime.

Some routers also support LOGD.

A small windows LOGD server, or even your standard linux box (it's included) can log the routers details.

SImply looking at the time between start and stops will tell you the uptime.

The Log method is the most reliable, as SNMP will only show the current uptime, and doesn't keep records.

Hi

Why don't you give your routers a break and switch them off at night.
That would save the ol primus stove from burning out on the long run.
Been a techie for 13 years so just always springs to mind.

Love to all
