Yes most wireless routers can work as wired or wireless and a combination of both. I have NetgearDG834g wireless router and at present am just using it it in fully hard wired mode sharing the connection between 3 PC's.

It seems you may have your wires cross on what a wireless broadband router is.

A wireless broadband router is a Broadband router,t hat will also act as a WAP (Wireless Access Point).

If this will work with ADSL will depend on the make and model.

The term broadband router does not mean it will function on ADSL. It can only do so if you have a seperate ethernet based broadband modem, or the router has a ADSL modem built in.

If you provide the make and model, we should be able to tell you if it would work.
