Which account to choose ?? ( was premier )

Currently on Premier 1mb paying 29.99 a month.

Tried recently to upgrade to 2mb and was told not possible due to line loss.

Thought i would check what was happening to the account today since all the changes recently and now see I am on a "up to 4mb" account, still paying 29.99

My question ( which I have raised with PN ), are the limits going to be relaxed for the max product and when is it likely to be rolled out, or am I now paying 29.99 for a service where I will only ever get up to 1mb ??

Figure if thats the case, I might as well downgrade to a 21.99 for effectivley the same service as I have now !!

Any ideas / opinions welcome !

Nothing to be gained by not downgrading to £21.99 for free, now.

If at a later date, you can get 4Mb, and they charge for it, you are saving £8 a month meanwhile, so I'd guess you'll be well in pocket.

Err as I understand it you have to pay £14.99 to downgrade

DOWNGRADES: If you change to a product with a lower monthly subscription, this is classed as a downgrade. Residential downgrades incur a one off fee of £14.99

But you'll end up saving money afet a couple of months.

That's the general rule, but for the new range of products, Plusnet has kindly agreed to downgrade all former premier 1Mb and 2Mb to the £21.99 2Mb package, as a one-off. See Ben Brown's post this morning.

But you have to request it, and at the moment that means raising a ticket or giving them a ring.

Thats what they said its a downgrade

This change will take place on the 10th May as downgrades must be implemented effective of your next payment date so no changes until then, but when the account changes on the 10th you will not have any fixed download restrictions in place.
