Which ADSL Modem/Router

Currently use a PCI ADSL wired modem and looking to go wireless.

Was looking at a Netgear D834GT modem/router/firewall combo, but as a bit of a tech noob was wondering if it is better for online games to have a wire connection rather than wireless?

Also is the Netgear mentioned above the right one to go for?

Thanks

I really like that netgear one, I use it as do many many people on this site, the only problem I have with it is that it doesn't support Multicasting, however I am hoping this is sorted in a future firmware upgrade! I have never had a problem with the wireless system and can use it all over my house and garden, always very fast!

sorry multicasting is beginning to become more popular, currently the BBC are trialling BBC1, BBC2 and all their radio stations over it and ITV is going to be trailling the same, its a way of streaming audio and video more effectively.

If your interested you can read about it:
