What to do?

This evening we again lost ADSL connection. Eventually we got through to the support phone people and were told that all was now well after some technical glitch and that we should turn off all our equipment and turn it on again to get connected. Is this really the best/only way to re-connect?

Any ideas please.

Turning off the computer doesn't really help. As long as you setup the dialer so that when the connection is lost it will redial for a number of times, it should be ok.
It all depends on how long this "glitch" will last.
