What spped will my line support?

I know that this has become the boring question of the decade, but I would like to know. I am completely confused by all the data flying arround. BT check says my line MIGHT be able to support 1Mb, however from these figures I thought that it would be ok for 2Mb. Perhaps some kind person could tell me.

Local TX Power: 11.75dB
Remote TX Power: 15.72dB
Local Line Atten.: 37.0dB
Remote Line Atten.: 21.0dB
Local SRN Margin: 32.0dB
Remote SRN Margin: 31.0dB

I have tried to find out for myself, but without in depth knowledge I am lost, as it seems to me that various parameters are given differing names.
TIA

Those figures look OK for 2 and beyond.
The upper limit for local attenuation (= downstream) is 43db for 2Mb, and 37 is well within that. Your SNR is very good too (needs to be over 10 usually).

The BT checker thing said I definitely couldn't get 2, might get 1, and I'm on 2Mb with no problems and worse figures than yours. So it's wrong (assuming your figures are not way way out, and I can't see them being that far out.)

Thanks Geoff, much obliged!
