This is the message I get from my Alcatel speedtouch router which was working fine until Monday when I came back from a long weekend.
I've tried everything disconnected all phone devices..connected up the router to the master socket instead, changed splitters, started afresh reconfiguring the router but to no avail.
I try to dial in and it keeps coming back with the same message. I got BT to check the line and they said everything was fine. Plusnet server seems to be up so why isn;t it dialing up ? The router itself seems to be o.k. the networking features are working fine.
Any ideas anyone ? What does the message 'Warning:modemline is down' actually infer ?
