Upgrade Question

I am presently on 512, and thinking of upgrading real soon.
Is the process fairly "transparent" - in as much as, say i went to work one morning, came back in the evening and all systems were "go!"?
Also - does the ADSL need to be disconnected during any upgrade?
(providing, of course my line can take it)

Upgrade Question

The process is almost completly transparrent.

When placing a regrade order, PlusNet will perform some initial tests, before submitting the order to BT. PlusNet will place the ticket on hold at this point, so they can review it on the day BT claim it will be completed.

In this time, there should be no loss of service.

On the day your ticket is due to come off hold, the work should have been completed or the ticket updated with a failure notice, or that the work hasn't taken place yet.

The actual speed change will normaly mean between 5 to 30 mins of time without access.

Upgrade Question

I beleive that it is fairly transparent in that there is a very brief outage while your line is changed over.
You should as you said go to work and come back to find it done Smiley
