Also your downstream SNR is a bit low. Below 7dB and you tend to get bad disconnection problems. It should ideally be above 10dB for reliable connections.

Are you sure you have an ADSL filter/splitter on every phone that is plugged into a socket, and on any fax, 56k modem and sky digial connection? Failing to do this can reduce your SNR and result in connection problems.

You could try connecting your ADSL eqipment directly to the BT master socket and see if things improve. Also try with all other telephones etc disconnected.

We've only got one phone socket.
We did just have a bt line.
We then signed up for bulldog, and the bt man came in and simply changed the faceplate at our master socket (with some re-wiring) and now it's got 2 sockets on it, one for bt and one for bulldog.

Getting 2mb speeds fine, with the added bonus of a 512 upload
