Static IP Config with a Netgear DG834

PN have been nice enough to grant a block of 8 IPs, but I'm having a nightmare to get them to work. The Router is a Netgear DG834.

Where I would expect it to say IP address, Netmask and then gateway address, it only allows the entry of a single static IP.

When PN assigns the IP, the address is correct, but the netmask is, which means that other IPs in the block arn't recognised.

Has anyone else had this problem... or maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Thanks for the help.

Static IP Config with a Netgear DG834

The simple answer is DG834 does not support multiple IP blocks. I know because I have one and an 8 IP block and discovered it does not work.

I'm now using a router that does, a Draytek Vigor 2600G (now replaced with the 2800G)

The DG834 is for the home market where single IPs is the norm.
