Speedtouch 330 vs Voyager 105

Advice, please ....

Just joined PlusNet and received my Voyager 105 USB modem today. I already had a Speedtouch 330 USB so checked its connection speed, uninstalled it and installed the Voyager to compare the two. The speed of the latter seems marginally better downstream.

Does anyone have any comments about the two? Is one better than the other? Are there any reliability issues? Is this speed differential just a vagary of the BT connection and traffic? Should I keep one or the other as backup or sell it?

Thanks.

ADSLguide speed test -
Speedtouch 330
Downstream 1751 Kbps (218.9 KB/sec) 1891 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 241 Kbps (30.1 KB/sec) 260 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Voyager 105
Downstream 1873 Kbps (234.1 KB/sec) 2022 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 240 Kbps (30.0 KB/sec) 259 Kbps (inc. overheads)

The test you have done are meaningless as the speed will be effected by the line and conditions at the time of the test so you are not comparing like for like.

To do a proper test both modems would have to be measured on the same line at the same time which isnt possable.

Keep one as a spare you never no when you will need it and they are so cheap you get nothing for it if you sell it

Thanks - thought so but couldn't be bothered doing the research to see how they compare.
