Maybe you're just scraping past 61 K peak when downloading from PlusNet, as it's your ISP.

But you won't get 61 K constant on the internet from other servers. no way!.

Downloads on here start slow then speed up.. but not to over 59 or 60K then they slow down and then up again.

Use your own testing equipment and you shall see the true readings!

Im afraid that i must say taht my download speeds are in excess of 57-63 and i downloading all the time really.

And i running a basic home budget network through 3 machines.

The plusnet ADSL is sorted as far as im concerned.

i get over 62 k from tucows
i get more then 62 k even from microsoft.com
also wuinamp.com
etc

it must be just your conection thats poor
