Settings for ADSL modems

There is an article on the ADSLGUIDE web page that says that BT recommend maximum packet length to be set at 1458 for both receive & transmit. I've tried it and it seems to be slightly quicker.

RE: Settings for ADSL modems

Yes I am using the Access Rnner s/w. Go to Access Runner Controp Panel - hit Alt + C, then the protocol set up Tab & enter 1458 in receive & Transmit.

Let us know how you get on.
