The cause of the ADSL connectivity problem has now been identified and service has been restored. Affected customers should now be able to login successfully.
A routing problem occurred on our ADSL network due to the failure of a core network component and this resulted in customers being unable to establish a connection. Customers who remained online may have experienced a short loss of connectivity to external sites but would otherwise have been unaffected. Our network engineers have circumvented the failed equipment and are currently working towards restoring complete service. During this time there is a possibility of further small outages although these will be kept to an absolute minimum.
