SDSL to appear when?

Just read on TheRegister that BT are going to be upgrading exchanges in UK cities to SDSL, supposedly to offer 2Mbit rates. When does PlusNet anticipate offering this to its customers - especially in Manchester?

Bulldog communications offer 2mbit but only if you live in central London, do these people and others alike think the world begins in London and the rest of us can go to hell, I'll stick with plusnet and wait.

Easynet are doing sdsl in Croydon area. From memory they are charging around £150 per month for a 1 mb syncronus link.

>Easynet's prices are:

500k up/down £492 per quater
1Meg up/down £657 per quater
2Meg up/down £978 per quater
8Meg up 756down £987 per quater

Then you need to add £1000 setup fee.

I'm sticking with plusnet!

RE: SDSL to appear when?

Hi There,

Just to confirm, PlusNet doesn't intend to start trials of SDSL until the pricing is a little easier to swallow (and the rollout is a lot more complete!).
