How much difference surely could a different router make?
Just swapped out a cheepo addon adsl router for a belkin which i picked up second hand and now I am going along at superb spees compared to this morning.

I must admit that I have the old Alcatel router PlusNet used to offer. Still use it. When I was testing out the DG834G, I must say the speed increased greatly. I will prolly get a better one soon, but you know how it goes, just never get around to it and there would be an aparent dent in my wallet :lol:

DG834G i have this and its made it the net lots faster. Networking is a too easy. Seting up xbox live if you have that is easy. Great router

Hi, many of the cheaper routers uses exactly the same chipset, Belkins are not exactly in the upper grade of routers and may well use a 'generic' chipset as well. I'm not sure if changing to another higher quality router would actually make the net any faster, all it might do is make the quality of the connection more stable..
