Roaming dial-up access with ADSL account possible?

Can someone away from our office's Plusnet ADSL line use the dial-up 0845 roaming number to connect to the internet (eg from home or a client's office)? Presume the name/password is as per dial-up then

Ta for any info.

Possibly, but they will be assigned the Office Static IP which can cause things to go wrong I believe.

It's not possible to use the ADSL username/password at the same time as someone uses the same username/password on dialup. It's something to do with how the system assigns IPs (both connections would end up fighting over the IP, and the ADSL would be knocked off, etc.).

The easiest thing to do would be to signup for a new 0845 Pay As You Go account, with which the phone charges would be exactly the same. There are no monthly charges, and (as the name suggests) you only pay for the phone bill.

Bear in mind if you do use a free account and you are considering dialling in via PBX systems in offices and hotels they will need to present CLI (not withold the phone number) so you might find a PlusNet Lite account £4.99 to be a good option and you can then also reffer yourself and get 50p back.
