Refer

Just trying to sign up a mate of mine who I have made a refer to twice before but on completion of the sign up form it comes up with someone completely different who my mate doesn't know and lives nowhere near us. How do I get the refer to go to me?

Get you and your mate to send a link:Contact us ticket in explaining the situation and support should be able to correct it.

Have you both sent in a request to link:Contact us ?
I know they have dealt with this in the past when refererals have gone wrong.

OK if you still get nowhere with the ticket system then I suggest that you send a PM to Ian Wild who I am sure will try and sort things out for you. As it clearly seems wrong that some unknown person is getting the referal.

Send an email (iwild@plus,net) as Ian does not always look at PMs

The same thing happened to me yesterday. I signed up a friend, but wasn’t given the option of entering my referral details. Instead, someone else’s email address appeared in the referral box at the final confirmation stage.

I definitely didn’t enter the site through a referral link, so it looks like there may be a problem with your sign-up process. Tickets have been raised by the two of us.
