Can i ask probably a stupid question.

I believe my ADSL Home Self-Install - Router Starter Pack (No activation fee,
Deferred hardware cost) product is now known as PlusNet Broadband Premier
Option 1 (Monthly Contract, 1 Port Router Modem).

So looking that up on the PN broadband packages i see i have a 15GB Peak-time usage allowance

Firstly, what exactly is peak-time and what does that mean?

Secondly, how do i know what i use in a month at present?

Aplogies if this is a stupid question or the answers are elsewhere, feel free to call me all sorts if they are Cheesy

Many thanks

peak time usage is the time between 4pm and midnight which plusnet have decided the system is most busy, which is probably true due to people getting home from work/school.

this is the time peak usage time is in effect 7 days a week

you can check your usage in a total and broken down form by going to your "Connection Settings" in the members centre and looking at the "View my usage" tool

That clears a lot up cheers.

Lucky i works nights eh as most of my useage is off-peak!

So that means my connection will not slow as i approach my mimit as the off-peak useage does not count towards my monthly allowance. If i have read all that correctly
