Problem with land line

Hello,

I'm trying to purchase the Broadband Premier deal, and the payment went through fine, however on the status tracker it says there is a problem checking my land line. Apparently there is an old broadband connection running on the line from the last people that lived at the house I'm living in now.

So will Plusnet automatically cancel the old connection on the line and proceed with the deal, or do I have to do something on my end? I have no idea which broadband is still on the line or how to cancel it, so any help would be appreciated.

I am having exactly the same problem with my line, except that it is a business line.
