Poor speeds since upgrade

I have been upgraded but I am on the outer limit of the exchange. My pre upgrade speed tests were around the 1000kbs mark, then after I got a 2476kbs and thought whoppee. This joy was short lived as my range now is 200 to 500. When a go through the spped fault checker here it says RED line contention but that cant be the case as it said that at 6.30 am today as well. Any thoughts on the problem and posible solutions

It is likely to be a problem at your exchange. If you go to:-

http://usertools.plus.net/exchanges/

and input your telephone number or exchange name then it should give you more information.

Hopefully it will give you an estimated date for BTw to have fixed the problem.

Thanks for the tip, this is what the site said,
