Hi there I don't know if anyone can give me any advice it would be much appreciated if you could I bought a PS2 broadband adaptor from a website however the info on the website wasn't particularly clear apparently it has to be connected to my pc using the ethernet cable supplied however my ADSL PCI modem has only standard modem style ports anyway is there a cheap way of sorting this out ot am I going to have to buy a special modem or router that will accept the ethernet cableHuh? :?

You could put an ethernet NIC (approx. £4 from certain sites) into your computer, and then connect the PS2 to that.

Only downside is you'd have to use ICS - which means whenever you want to use the PS2 online, the computer it's connected to must be on.

One more thing.
The cable supplied with the adaptor is a strait through cable. To use ICS you will need a crossover cable Wink
Hope this helps you
