Packet Loss tonight

Just noticed then when I play Counter-Stike my ping goes between 50 and 250. Hope it's just temporary....

Pinging bbc.co.uk [132.185.132.204] with 32 bytes of data:

Generally, when your transfering data on your line .. you ping times will inrease.. (i.e. when your playing a game/ downloading)

However .. has this just started happening??

Have you made sure you haven't got anything else running in the background..
P2P running ?? / Windows Update / Anti-Virus update / e-mail sending / recieving ??


A trace Route would provide better information to be honest..

Go to a dos prompt and instead of typing "ping www.bbc.co.uk" type "tracert www.bbc.co.uk"
(naturally without the " " )
