One for the support desk!

Called support this morning with an intermittent disconnection. He advised that since the filter was two years old I should replace it. On removing the old filter I realised the reason for the problem - it was full of ants (in excess of 100) which had fried the filter!!!

Thanks to support for being spot on!!

Well, I must admit, an ironic twist to the term well used.

I very much doubt the CS agent was expecting this to be the actual cause, even if the diagnosis was correct Cheesy

I read somewhere else in this forum that someone had had a similar problem.
The issue extended to the contacts in the plug socket too, so he was advised to work the plug in and out of the socket a few times to get rid of any corrosion on the connectors.
Could be worth a look just to make sure Wink
