Old School ADSL Home (Self Install)

ok, what's the deal, I pay £21.99 a month for my ADSL Home with a speed of 512, I believe. Is this not a little unfair? As the 2mb premier account is only £21.99, surely we should automatically get the speed upgrade as we are paying for a product which cost the same as another product which performs better. Where's the justice in that?

Where have you been the past few months?

Have you not been reading your email?

You will be getting a free speed upgrade, in accordance with the mass upgrade program published some time ago.

It is however a waiting game, due to the sheer volume of customers that require speed increases, and with the program to upgrade the BT network at the same time.

Hi there,

Those accounts are up to 2mb.

However, Bt are running a project whereby everyones line will (where possible) be upgraded to the maximum it can handle, up to 2mb.

This is a rolling project and not everyone has been upgraded, yet.

If you enter your phone number here you will see where your exchange fits into the upgrade program. You should be aware, that BT are running a bit behind schedule with this program so the info you receive may not be set in stone.
