New User - BT lines

Hi there

Question

Will this set-up cause me a problem ?

Situration

Have a BT line coming in from outside - goes to a connection box (cable too short !) - split into 2 forwarding cables.

1.1 goes to extension box in my bedroom i.e. where pc is.
2.Other goes to my primary box in the hall

I'm I assuming correct, need to install splitters on both boxes ?

Any feedback most welcome.

Thanks.

N.B.Still at stage where plus.net checking my lines initially.

Thats correct, where there's a phone you'll need a splitter.

RE: New User - BT lines

You need to put a splitter only where you connect a phone.

Thanks for comments - so bottom line is:

1.Need add splitter for each box
2.Connection Box should not cause any problems.

If theres a phone plugged into each - yes. otherwise just one splitter @ the point where the phones plugged in.
