New Binatone ADSL500 Modem

I got my plustnet Binatone ADSL500 modem last December. It is the one that has 2 lights on the front.
I am aware that a new model is available that has three lights on it. (see http://80.176.199.241)

My question is, the new model seems to allow you to login into the modem using the ip address 192.168.1.2, but I can't get this to work with my model.

Can anyone do it with the old model, or is it a new hardware in the modem?

Thanks

Have you installed the software for the new modem
and can't log on or are trying to log on with your existing
software ?
The new modem has a set up page to enable the
user to select encapsulation / PPP / VPI / VCI settings,
after the software is installed.
The old version (your model) selects these features during the
installation process and therefore doesn't need a set - up
page.
It's unlikely that the new set of drivers will work with the old
modem especially if a different chipset is used, unless Binatone
have actually specified that they do.
Are you having problems with your current drivers ?
