If you have this router and it goes off-line, at the back is a small hole, insert a pen and hold in for 20 secs. Fixed.

it will probably work well provided you have remembered all your settings first Smiley

the DG814 manual doesn't say how to use that button, it merely mentions its existence.

But surely that defeats the point of a factory reset? Erasing all your settings and starting fresh, and then just loading the settings back on?
