The netgear DG834 is a good choice and you can block sites or certain words with easy. You might want to go for the DG834G, the wireless version, if you want avoid the wires.

You can pick up a DG834 from Amazon for around £60.

I use one, so if you decide to go for it and want any help, then send me a PM.

Cheers,

Aaron

I have a Netgear dg834 and have had nothing but problems - I can't access access any pages through IE. Recently Netgear remotely accessed my router and fixed the problem - but then i had to set my PC n Router to static IP's and the problems back. Netgear now say that it is a DNS name resolving problem and that all my settings are correct!!

Can you suggest anything this is driving me mad!!

What are the static IP addresses you are using?

Have you reserved the addresses within the router and told it to start DCHP address from the address after your last static address?

Why have you decide to go for static address, just curious?
