Multiple broadband connections

Hi,

I have a PlusNet account in my bedroom at home (i live with parents). My mum wants to get my a sister a connection from BT. Can we both have seperate broadband connections at the same house on the same telephone line?

If we can, will my sister having broadband affect my speed at all seeing as we're both using the same telephone line?

Multiple broadband connections

Unfortunatly, a phone line can only carry one broadband signal at a time.

As such, a seperate telephpone line would be required for this.

Multiple broadband connections

jgardner,

could you upgrade your account to the fastest speed possible and get a wireless router or the likes and then share the connection?

A wireless router would be fine on a standard-speed broadband connection. My lines now on 2Meg, but it was fine with two users before.
