I have a pci adsl modem when i connect to the internet it says I am connected at between 6 and 7.1 mb. Does that mean maxdsl is activated on my line. I requested within the forums and through the send maxdsl page but I have heard nothing If I do a speed test from plusnet I just get over 2mb but if I use the Bt one I get 6mb.

Two months ago occasionally get download speeds of around 4mb but nothing like that now

How can I tell if I am maxed now or not

Thanks Coley

Sounds as though you are maxed...if you do the BT speedtest through the PlusNet portal [Help & support/Self test and raise a fault/BT broadband speedtest] the test results should make that clear i.e if the upstream figure is in the 400s you're maxed, also it will tell you what the actual throughput is...if this is a good deal lower than your IP profile raise a ticket. Hope this helps though I'm no expert! Smiley
