Mac OS X Plusnet Account

hi,

I have just joined Plusnet broadband using the easystart option. I use a Mac operating on OS X. I have finally managed to get connected through the advice of another user on this forum. However I do find it quite annoying having to access my network settings through the Binatone link in my browser. Is there another way to configure my network to recognise Plusnet Settings?

Also if anyone can offer any advice of setting up all the mail and website server details? which are detailed on Technical support pages.

That is the only way you can edit the settings...and what are you trying to do with the mail / webspace?
Incoming mail is mail.plus.net, outgoing relay.plus.net.
Webspace is ftp.plus.net

All used using your username and password

Hope you got everything sorted
Top Tip !! If you upgrade to Panther, forget the modem supplied by plusnet & invest in a Netgear 602 DM Modem/Router - ( PC World or wherever for about £90.00) - worth it's weight in gold !
Absolutely no problems with connections/speed etc
