Hi ive just checked on the exchange checker tool on both the plusnet site and also the usertools, and it says my exchange has been upgraded for 8MB use.

Im on 512Kb at the moment and was wondering what i need to do now in order to find out what MAX speed my line will take?

Thanks in advance,

Gordon

You have 2 options:

1) Wait until BT get around to actually enabling MaxDSL on your line (which may take several months) and you will know after 10 days.

2) Put your line stats into http://212.23.23.177/calc.htm

ok ive done the web checker thing and it says 2820Kbps is what i could get. So what do i do now on Plusnet in order to upgrade so I can get the maximum available to me?

You do nothing. PlusNet will be putting an order in to BTW to upgrade all their ADSL lines to MaxDSL on April 1st. It will take BT many months to do them all so it is impossible to say when your line will be enabled. You have to wait, just like the rest of us.
