MAX (New Filter!)

Hi, Like everyone else on MAX I have been having probs with my speeds, for 3 weeks now I have tried everything suggested on this forum but the best I could get my router to sinc at was 448kbps up and 2700kbps down and a noise margin of 6db down. Two days ago i decided to buy a new adsl filter as a last try, it was the only thing i had not changed, since then my router has been solid at 448,6400, and 7db, this may be a fluke but fingers crossed the filter was the prob and I can now look forward to faster speeds! Also can anybody please tell me how long it will take for plusnet to reset my speed, thanks.

FWIW I would always recommend using a single faceplate splitter/filter on the master socket.

It's a bit of a nuisance having to run a dedicated extension for DSL but IMO it's worth it.
