Loss of Bband on shutdown.

Help please. I have just installed a modem (voyager) for my son. New computer Win.XP home. Installing seemed OK but after shutdown you have to reconnect using the modem panel to get back the connection to P.Net.
Any ideas? Mike

I have never tried this so can't guarantee it would work with plusnet and a voyager modem.

Open Control Panel / Network Connections
Select the connection (most likely Voyager 105 ADSL Modem Connection)
Right click select "Properties"
Click the Options tab,
Under " Dialling Options, Untick Prompt for name and password, Certificate Etc.
Click o.k
Right click on it again and create a short cut in your startup folder under C:\Documents and Settings\User name\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

If you set IE to allway dial the default dialup then just opening IE should make it dial for you. Be sure to set the broadband as the default connection
