Loss of ADSL

Hi All

I have a netgear modem router and this evening the ADSL indicator light is out and I have no ADSL connection. All the local network connections are fine. I have tried re-booting it without effect. My phone is fine however.

In the past I have lost my phone line whilst still retaining ADSL. Am I right in assuming that this is a line fault and I should be reporting it to BT.

I live in the area of Wiltshire which had a big power outage last night but my ADSL came up again fine after power was restored

You are PlusNets customer, and PlusNet is BT's customer. As such, you need to report ADSL faults to PlusNet.

Reporting such faulsts to BT will be rejected and asked to contact PlusNet.

OK thanks for clarifying that - as it happens ADSL came back up over night so the problem seems to have gone away, but I will know what do do if it happens again
