From the Broadband 'premier' product benefits blurb:
"Premium quality service for all types of usage"
From the Broadband 'premier' product data transfer blurb:
"You'll get high-speeds even at busy times, whether you're surfing and emailing, downloading large files or connecting multiple PCs on your home network"
From the email you sent out to Broadband 'premier' customers:
"We have also made a number of changes to the Acceptable Use Policy.... Introduction of traffic prioritisation techniques to all broadband accounts. This will ensure that we can continue to deliver an excellent and consistent service, particularly at peak times, for customers using time-sensitive applications such as VoIP, email, web browsing and gaming"
Can you please explain exactly how these further limitations on the service you provide tally with your false claims of 'Premium quality service for all types of usage' and the the apparent assurance of "high-speeds even at busy times, whether you're surfing and emailing, downloading large files"?
Maybe you forgot to include the asterisk(s) against these half-truths and a section of small print:
* all types of usage which we decide to not to throttle
** downloading large files via http only. Busy times classed as 1am - 8am, all other times classed as really busy, so don't even think about doing stuff then.
