LOOK!!!! ADSL nightmare revisited

You mark my words.... the ADSL fiasco is starting again.

I noticed it early last time - I still have the emails where Plusnet were denying anything was amiss and trying to blame my hardware, my drivers, my friends ISP, allsorts!!!

This is exactly how it started last time.

I can connect with my 56K modem and get better pings than via ADSL.

RE: LOOK!!!! ADSL nightmare revisited

More tests tonight reveal the following:

Ping times to various game servers are over 350ms nearly all with packet loss i.e. totally unplayable.

Downloading a file with 10 connections using DAP and still only get 25KB/s MAX out of possible 60KB/s i.e. bandwidth problems again?!

Tweak Tests @ dslreports.com are failing in most areas e.g. "no ping reported", "transfer rate = 56kbit/s"

I only just tweaked my connection (change RWIN to 32120) and noticed the immediate download improvement a week ago but this is definitely not my fault this time.

The problems are not with BT, the problems are with Plusnet and their connection to BT.

Have run a series of bandwidth tests this morning and speed is like a yoyo on "speed" one minute, "downers" the next. Not the best annalogy in the world I know but am sure you know what I mean. So problem is certainly not confined to the so called "busy" periods.
So, heres hoping that "fix" to all these problems experienced by so many loyal customers of yours plusnet is completed very soon.

Why oh why did I sign up for a yearHuhHuh?
Yes I have read the status connectivity notices by customer support. They may be doing their best(perhaps not), how are we to know?
