With LLU I presume that the line is transferred to another company, ie Tiscali who have equipment in your local exchange.
So they rent the space and line from BT, Plusnet then rent the line from Tiscali.
So if you find the service unbearable and wish to switch, then your line has to be taken back by BT and you have to start all over again.
But if the system is bad surely this would be down to BT at the end of the day so switching to another ISP logically would make no difference as the lines are all BT anyway.
Is this correct ?
I joined in January 2003, my exchange was max enabled back in March and am still waiting. Have a solid 2Mb connection which runs at about 1.88, am only 1km from the exchange so am keeping my fingers crossed.
It still annoys me intensely when I see people being maxed who have only been with PN for 5 minutes !!
PN Prem opt 1, 2MB DG834v2
