Kesgrave/Irby/Leek Exchanges

I am on the newly installed Kesgrave Exchange - Since going live on Monday Adsl connection has been poor/non existent.

Despite initially being told BT can find no fault I now understand that all the above exchanges are affected by connection problems.

To date plusnet have not advised me that ut is an exchange problem - has anyone on these exchanges had any confirmation from Plusnet?

Three exchanges have had a Major Service Outage (MSO) declared by BT Wholesale. The exchanges are Irby, Leek and Kesgrave. It is believed that this is related to the problems that new users on these exchanges are experiencing, which are that the ADSL modem connects but is unable to authenticate or is very intermittent.

Declaring an MSO, means that all service providers should know about the problems, though it will take time to filter down the chain to first line support staff. No confirmed time has been given for when the faults will be cleared, but if we get official confirmation or any more details from BT Wholesale we will pass them on.

At least plusnet have turned you on-i'm still wating to have the oppertunity to have my outage!

I'm, on Kesgrave. Got it working yesterday (Saturday 21st Dec) and it was excellent. This morning (09.00 ish) it seems to be very stop start. When it's there it's v. fast. When it's not, nothing works - web, DNS, ping ip address.
