Just had LLU - SNR dropped from 17db to 12.5db

Just wondering if there is going to be a negative impact on my broadband when I get maxadsl, due to a drop in the SNR

It is just that I am little confused as before my maximum speed has always been 1152kbps until today (pre LLU) and it has now risen to 1904kpbs (after LLU). But, at the same time my SNR dropped from 17db to 12.5db.

Will this effect my maximum possible speed obtainable when I get maxadsl?

I went onto dslzoneuk.net before the LLU and had an estimate of 3.9 to 4.1 mbps on maxadsl but this has since dropped to 2.9mbps, obviously due to the drop in SNR. But, at the same time my speed has increased on my 2mbps line as it is at the moment from 1152kbps to 1904kbps hence the confusion!!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Sue

I think you maybe!

If you are on LLU your connection is via Tiscali and you will not be getting DSLMax as that is a BT product.

You cannot have both LLU and DSLMax together, only one or the other.
