Inaccurate reporting on View My Usage tool?

Hi

Just regraded from 512k Easystart to 1mb Home. I had asked to be regraded to the 4GB bandwidth tariff, but found I was on the 1GB tariff and had gone over the limit (on average I use 3-3.5GB per month hence the initial request for 4GB). I checked the View My Usage tool and to my horror found it reporting that I had used 4.44 GB in one day! I know this to be totally inaccurate as my usage rarely goes above 100mb a day and I have not been uploading or downloading any huge files/movies/videos etc. in the last 24 hours. I have hear on the forums that the View My Usage tool can be wildly inaccurate and wonder whether this is the case with my usage. How would you dispute their bandwidth figures if you know that they do not reflect current usage ? I have raised a ticket with Plusnet about this issue.

There is a current problem with VMBU wich was reported in ADSLguide here. Internal problem has been raised by Dave.
