IP Block setup into router and directing.

Hello all,

I am just wondering if there is a support area on plusnet that would explain how I would enter multiple ips into my outer as given by plusnet in an ip block.
I am using a d-link router/modem and have never attempted this before yet need to use them to learn and teach myself linux and controling it over the net.
If anyone has any idea on how I may achieve this or has any info on tutorials on plusnets site then please let me know.

Thanks.

TOm.

lo tom, as i missed u on msn ill try here :

1) you dont really need another IP for what you are trying to do, just use NAT on the single IP to get to the internal Linux box (all you will need to NAT is 22 and 5900 (ssh and VNC))

2) your router may have the option to add a second external ip, if so it will be where ur other ip is located, however most cheep routers do not allow this which kind of sucks.
