Most +net users have a static ip address which is easy to work out, but what a about those with a block of addresses assigned to them, are they shared with other users or iare they for your personal use.

If they are shared then if someone on the block starts spamming how can you tell which one it is.

If someone is allocated a block of 4 or 8 IP addresses, they will all be static and not shared with other users.

If you are port scanned by an IP from an allocated block PlusNet still knows who that belongs to, you just tell them the IP address.

They are a block, static and numbered sequentialy.

In adition, all should resolve with a DNS lookup to username.plus.com by default.
