How can I tell if I have been switched to LLU?

As the subject suggests, I've spent this weekend reading around a bit and learning of some of the issues Plusnet is having at the moment.

Yes after over 3 years with Plusnet, I have been looking at other providers. All of these are offering free migration with the correct MAC code.

I see that some accounts have been moved to LLU and as such the MAC code maybe unavailable or incompatible with migrating to another ISP, the only option seemingly is to cancel the Plusnet account and then go for a complete re-activation with another ISP.

So my question would be, how can I tell if I have been switched to a LLU account, and will there be any warning if I haven't already? Reason is if I am being switched, then that might be the incentive to switch before I am barred from migrating!

Thanks in advance.

Here's a way to tell...

If you do a adsl availability search on your phone number using any checker you can tell if you are on LLU from the text that you get back from the query.

If it says something like there is already adsl on the line, you are on BT's equipment, but if it says there is a service on the line that is incompatible with adsl it means that you are on LLU.

Hope this helps

heres a checker that you can use
