Help - what does it all mean

Is this good or bad - I've got 8mb MAX

IP profile for your line is - 1500 kbps
DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 2016 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 435 kbps

Hi Jennies,

It means that BT have limited your speed to 1500Kbps and your actual speed was nearer to 500Kbps.

Ive just made a change at this end, so if you reboot your machine, you should see nearer to 1500Kbps.

Brilliant, 3x faster now, well happy, just need BT to get their backsides in gear and upgrade the exchange so I can get the full monty!!

eh? what upgrade are you referring to? If its the upgrade to Max, you are already on it and have the fastest your line will support. If something else, what?
