Ethernet router and Airport Express

It is probably a silly question to most of you out there but I am a Macuser.

I am waiting for my new Mac to be delivered, I also ordered an Airport Express. In order to set up a wireless connesction at home, do I need to get an ethernet router as well? or I can just plug my existing USB ADSL modem to the back of the Express?

Please advise. Thanks a lot in advance.

The USB port on the express is for a USB printer only, and will not work with USB modems.

You will need a Ethernet DSL modem if you wish to use your Express as your broadband router.

Thanks for confirming.

What do you think of the Linksys WAG54G? Would it be a good choice?

Yes, as is the similar spec'd Netgear DG834G

Before I rush out to get a Linksys before the arrival of my Mac, so really what it means is I should not have bought the Airport Express because Linksys will take care of the wireless internet for me.
Right?
