During the line test..

Have just had automatic line gain shut off on my phone line, which will hopefully produce a fouvourable line test result. Question is, should I plug my ADSL filter into my phone socket while the test is going on, or should I just leave it as it is with nothing plugged in cept a normal wired telephone? Just that some people have been getting failed line test results showing that the customer's filter is not adequate - suggesting they have them plugged in during the line test?

Thanks for any info Wink

Considering BT recomend that you do not purchase equipment until your line is activated, this usualy answers the question.

You are best leaving only one phone plugged into the master socket, and make sure that any sky unit, or modem is unplugged (just plugin when needed).

These are usualy the best conditions for testing.
